Redundancies made as QFC seeks buyer

On 2nd August, Chris Pole and Mark Orton from KPMG’s Restructuring practice were appointed joint administrators of The Quality Furniture Company (QFC). Members of The Furniture Makers’ Company are taking themselves to new heights this summer as a group are planning to cycle up the Giant of Provence, Mont Ventoux, in order to raise money for the charity.  Nine people have signed up to the challenge, which is being organised by Hayden Davies, master of The Furniture Makers’ Company, and is taking place on 13th September.  The relay challenge will see the team collectively cycle all three routes of the 6273ft mountain, with each rider committing t...
